I work with you to witness. To witness your misunderstood, forgotten, loved, freed, avoided, lost, healed, wounded, unheard, privileged, and marginalized parts; the parts that make up the whole. Following your lead, we will try to put the pieces together to create access into a deeper relationship with yourself and the relationships in your life.

I started my work in 2008 and became licensed in 2018. I am Puerto Rican, second generation, Queer, and affirm anti-racism, social justice, swerk, disability, kink, consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, sex and body love. I have witnessed beauty in darkness and I am deeply committed to holding space for you, even if you do not relate to parts of my identity or what I affirm. People who work with me are typically looking to develop and cultivate a deeper sense of Self and community. They are searching for ways to be with how their body, mind, and spirit/soul/essence show up in the world. They may occupy a privileged and/or marginalized identity: racial, ethnic, sexual, gender, relational, physical, etc. There is existential drive to understand and seek oasis with & from the world we live with.

My style is rooted in how we as people in the world relate to ourselves, each other, and to the world we live with. My approach is body-based, non-directive, relational, existential, spiritual, and energetic. I commit myself to continuously cultivating cultural-humility and to providing strengths-based, yet reflective, challenging feedback & education when appropriate. I also offer other methods for cultivating change and presence in your life. This may look like practicing mindfulness, exploring psychological concepts, exploring ancestral or deeply rooted energy within you, utilizing nature as a resource for transformation, symbolism, music, art, rhythm, dance, and most importantly, giving voice to your lived experiences. My communication style is direct, compassionate, curious, and honest. My intention is to always authentically be in therapeutic relationship with you while we unearth what you need.

  • Individual & Relationship Therapy

One-on-one individual therapy. Traditional talk therapy where we meet together and focus on anything you choose is significant. People tend to find themselves processing past, present, and/or future experiences, including their childhood, adulthood, fears, worries, love, trauma, and more.

Couples/2+/relationship therapy. All relationship structures welcomed (ex. friendships, business partners, romantic relationships, polycules, etc.). I meet with the members of the relationship and focus on their relationship concerns or needs, including anxieties, communication, physical & emotional needs, co-habitation, desire, eroticism, and more.

  • Embodiment & Body-Focused Therapy

Embodiment (connecting to body-felt experiences) and somatic (body-focused) therapies, including dance/movement therapy and mindfulness training.

Dance/movement therapy where we utilize movement, dance, and creativity as inroads toward inner connection and outer expression. Deepening your understanding of your body, the mind/body connection, and their influence on wellbeing. Utilizing body as a resource and bringing attention to body-felt experiences.

Mindfulness training where somatic concepts and presence are centered. Inviting your senses into the process with more intention as a means towards greater presence, relief, and awareness without dismissing your experience. Breath-work, visualization, imagery, meditation, and more.

  • Clinical Supervision, Consultation, & Group Facilitation

Individual or group clinical supervision for pre-licensed or licensed clinicians in the state of Illinois (ex. MA, LPC). Consultation provided to anyone, usually mental health providers, seeking education, processing, and guidance.

Group facilitation for deepening creative process, therapeutic experience, improving communication, and developing group cohesion. All groups are encouraged to inquire about how this may look for you. This may look like community building in your neighborhood or for your business.

  • Non-Monogamy Inclusive Therapy

Non-monogamous themes, needs, curiosities, & experiences are intentionally and safely invited into the therapy process. Exploring your relationship structure(s) and relational self with a non-monogamy aware therapist with lived experience.

  • Anti-Oppressive & Transpersonal Therapy

Anti-oppressive therapy where power, authority, abuse, cruelty, and inequality are intentionally dismantled within the therapeutic process itself. Exploring and bringing attention to generational and systemic concepts, themes, and realities.

Transpersonal therapy where YOUR spirituality and unique presence is centered. With an anti-oppressive lens, we may look at how your past and/or current spirituality intersects, impacts, and influences Self and others. Ancestry, energy, and here-and-now experiences are also centered.

  • Kink & Eroticism Inclusive Therapy

Kink & eroticism, including themes, needs, curiosities, & experiences, are intentionally and safely invited into the therapy process. Exploring your sexuality, physical self, and your energetic vibrancy with a kink aware therapist with lived experience.
