So often we have need of a place, a space serving both as one of refuge and centerstage to step deeper into our power and authenticity; to understand ourselves as we truly are in all our complexities, contradictions, and multitudes.
You are welcome whether you are trying therapy for the first time or would like to deepen your existing therapeutic journey. In our co-created space, I seek to help you connect with the wisdom of your body and mind to build greater awareness and harmony with yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
My vibe is equally vibrant as it is calm. My therapeutic approach is relational and trauma-informed while incorporating playfulness, guided exploration, radical acceptance and compassion. I practice psychotherapy from a place of cultural-humility and with a commitment to antiracism and decolonizing mental health.
I specialize in working with adolescents, emerging adults, young adults, and college students. Common experiences I work with currently are grief and loss, depression, anxiety, self-injury, school anxiety/refusal, difficulty with work/school/life balance and transitions, identity development and self-worth, relationship challenges, trauma, medical trauma and chronic illness, and substance use/misuse.Katie Dominguez, LCPC, R-DMT, GL-CMA
